It was a beautiful weekend for a November San Francisco wedding. The weather was gorgeous and no major mishaps occurred through out the blissful occasion. And now, the bride and groom are off to their honeymoon in New Zealand and Australia (I'd be lying if I said I weren't jealous). As fun of a weekend it was to be with family, it was exhausting corralling kids to and from all the wedding festivities, especially in such a busy city as San Francisco. My fellow, now parental cousins and I made light of the situation, reminiscing on the family occasions we would have pre-kids, heavily drinking and partying until the wee hours of the night. And now, we were lucky if we got one glass of wine down, any flatware was left untouched, or having a meal free of a complete nuclear meltdown. Between 5 boys all under the age of 4 - such was not the case, and we were the poster families for birth control. I think we scared away many young couples! In the meantime, the Hubs deserves major kudos for watching and prepping the kids through out the weekend while I fulfilled my bridesmaid duties.
PS. If anyone is curious, Dylan made it down the aisle, but not as planned...in tears, carried down by his father.
