DIY Confetti Tassel Gift Wrap

I have been vying for a confetti tassel garland ever since I saw this one on Cupcakes and Cashmere.  And now that I have an office/guest room to decorate, I bit the bullet and bought one from here.   How adorbs is it? It's all the elements of my favorite things: sparkly, pink and pretty.  So this past weekend, I felt inspired by it and made a mini version to use as a gift topper for a baby shower present.

If you ever have the desire or patience to make a garland of your own, this is a great resource for it. Otherwise, here's a quick tutorial for a mini-me version.

(this may be a bit confusing since my hubs had to tell me what was lengthwise vs. widthwise)

I don't own a glue gun, so I got resourceful and used tape instead. It did the trick, but glue would be a cleaner, more finished option.
